Sansom Community Services
Sansom Community Services (SCS) is a unit within The Department of Housing and Conference Services which is a unit of The Division of Business Services. The SCS Office recruits, hires, supervises, and evaluates the live-in and SCS managerial staff of Sansom Place. The SCS Office creates and enforces SCS/University policies, advocates for residents, and promotes community and an atmosphere of academic excellence.Sansom Community Services Mission:
As a member of the Department of Housing and Conference Services team the Sansom Community Services unit strives to:- Provide residents of Sansom Place the opportunity to live in a residential facility, which promotes community, safety and general well being in an atmosphere of academic excellence.
- Provides advocacy, support, and services to the Penn student population in an effort to heighten the overall academic experience.
- Expand the visibility of the Sansom Common Neighborhood to our audience and assist interested Sansom Common retailers in reaching our population.
